What to see in January

We now have two new hedges in the Gardens – a Holly hedge along the Northern boundary of the Wild life Area provided and planted by Karal and Monica Stock. This will grow into a wonderful thick and safe nesting place for small birds and will of course provide berries for food, then we have the ne Box hedge opposite the café, given us by Kings Tree Nursery of Rayne to whom we are very grateful, giving some formality to the new beds planted on the Tesco Volunteering day in September. On that day some Hellebores or Christmas roses were planted opposite the path leading from the bottom gate. They are coming into flower right on cue..  jan-2017-gen-view
